About St Lukes

February-March 2012

Jesus and His Friends

In John chapters 13-16, Jesus knows he is about to leave the world and return to his Father, but he wants to prepare his friends for life in the world without him. So, as they spend their last evening together Jesus seeks to prepare his friends for what lays ahead. As he does so there are many promises, much encouragement and some key commands – all of which are also for us as we seek to live as friends of Jesus today.
