The book of Ruth is not part of the book of Judges, but it does tell of events during the time of the Judges. However, rather than focussing on some of the big events of the time, the battles and wars it focusses down on the lives of a few individuals.
It is a story of tragedy, but also hope. A story of loyalty, family ties and love. Many have described it as one of the most beautiful short stories ever told. But what is its message for us?
