Many of the War poems from the first World War remind us of the terrors and horrors of war. Yet, in the midst of that war and many others were men and women who had a deep faith in God. How did they respond to the terrors they were facing. Perhaps a bit like David would have done. Psalm 70 is the poem of a soldier, but unlike the poems of World War I it is also a wonderful prayer.
