“In this world you will have trouble.  But take heart.
I have overcome the world” (Jesus)
A kaleidoscope of symbols, images, and numbers, Revelation is often seen as a weird, other-worldly book.  Yet it was written to support flesh and blood Christians facing all-too-real challenges in the cities of Asia Minor.  With prophetic vision and a pastor’s heart, John shows them two cities they cannot see – and who will have the final word.
September 5th   - The Churches in the City (Rev. 1-5)
September 12th  - God’s Judgement on the City (Rev. 6-18)
September 19th    - The City of God
(Rev. 19-22)

Robin Plant has a Ph.D. in Old Testament from Edinburgh University.  He worked for ten years in Kazakhstan and Romania, preaching and leading seminars in Christian theology, and from 2010–2012 was director of graduate studies at the Evangelical Theological Seminary, Osijek, Croatia.  He now teaches English to overseas students, and is a sessional tutor at Christ Church University, Canterbury, and St. Augustine’s College of Theology.
