God and Science

Picture
Many people believe that science has disproved or discredited Christianity, that you cannot trust the Bible and follow the modern scientific method. Yet, the truth is that there are many scientists who are Christians and many of the founding fathers of science had a strong belief in God.

So how do God and science interact? Can we treat both science and the Bible as true guides to life? What are the limits of science and when do we need to bring God into the picture?

We will be exploring these questions and more in a series of three sermons at St. Luke's church in Ramsgate:
  • God, me and the stars (January 12th)
  • Science and the Bible (January 19th)
  • God and Biology (January 26th)
