Our Mission Statement

Growing in Christ
to glorify God
and enjoy Him forever
We will only be effective as a church if are rooted in Christ. Only then can we grow to be and do what God wants:

"I am the vine; you are the branches.
If someone remains in me and I in them,
they will bear much fruit;
apart from me you can do nothing."
John 15:5

"In Christ the whole building is joined together
and rises to become a holy temple in the Lord."
Ephesians 2:21
The ultimate purpose of the church - indeed us as human beings, is to glorify God and enjoy Him. God's love shown in Jesus's death and resurrection enables us to do that both now and forever when we decide to trust Him and follow his lead by loving others and doing good:
"For God so loved the world
that He gave His one and only Son,
that whoever believes in Him
shall not perish,
but have eternal life."
John 3:16

"Live such good lives among the pagans that,
though they accuse you of doing wrong,
they may see your good deeds
and glorify God on the day he visits us."
1 Peter 2:12

[Jesus says,] "I have told you this,
so that my joy may be in you
and that your joy make be complete.
My command is this:
love each other, as I have loved you.
Greater love has no-one than this,
that one lay down his life for his friends.
You are my friends if you do what I command."
John 15:11-14
