Son of God (Luke 1.26-38)

Gabriel appears to Mary a virgin and announces that she will give birth to the one called the Son of God.

We easily identify Jesus as the 'Son of God', but what does the Bible actually mean by that phrase?

God's Deal (Luke 1:5-25, 57-66)

Often in life, people fail to deliver on deals. We may be left wondering whether God will deliver on the deal he promises us?

Luke writes his gospel so that we can be confident in what we have been taught. Including the deal he offers us. In this opening story of the gospel, Zechariah is offered an amazing deal by God, but he is not sure that God will deliver.

However, he soon learns that God does deliver on the deals he offers. So, we like Zechariah can learn to trust the good news that God promises all who follow him.

The Great Multitude (Revelation 7:9-17)

In Revelation 7 we have a glimpse of the ultimate reality. This is the picture of how it will be after Jesus returns and institutes the New Heaven and the New Earth.

What will it be like? Who will be on the throne? Who will be there?
